Belts with dresses and friends with benifits!

Ever tried to wear a dress with a belt? I bet all you got was a bunch of flap! Well never fear fashion fans I have found a quick and easy solution to the belt flap problem that has been plaguing us all. If you want to wear a belt with a dress that does not have belt loops using velcro is the answer. Gone are the days of using hair pins to securely attach the flapping part of the belt to your side. All you need are self adhesive velcro dots or strips which are sold at all Staples stores. Simply attach the two components of the velcro dots ( one fuzz side and one bristly side) to the part of your belt that flaps and Vola! No more belt flap and you can literally wear any belt with any dress, loops or no loops! This little trick single handedly changed my summer!

This little pinky I found at Buffalo Exchange in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this weekend! I love dresses and for me the cuter the better! Buffalo Exchange is a great place for a budget conscience girl like myself to get the most bang for my dollar. I do recommend sporadic monthly visits because if you go too often you'll just find yourself staring at the same things over and over. And it has become quite the lil singles scene. But I think Buffalo is best when visited with a friend who shares your passion for fashion. And maybe if your all tapped out in the old wallet that friend will pay for your skirt. That's another type of friend with benifits, the kind a girl like me is very lucky to have :)
