I must say I've literally discovered the most awesome things by aimlessly wandering around the city. On one poorly planned Saturday a friend and I stumbled upon the Hester street market. It's a cute little weekend flea market on Hester street on the lower east side in Manhattan. It is located in what might have been a former parking lot. It is chock full of vintage finds from bikes to clothing to shoes and tasty treats from local vendors. So if you ever find yourself wandering around Hester street stop in and have a look around. I guarantee you wont regret it :)
